CENTRE SEATING CAPACITY
- Theater Style: up to 450 guests seated

SERVICES INCLUDED
- Hall rental is included in all fully catered functions.
- Table and chair set up and clean-up is included in all fully catered functions.
- We provide round (5 foot) tables to seat 8-9 guests per table.
- Rectangular tables are also available to seat 10-12 guests.
- All tables will be set with cutlery, salt & pepper, disposable water glasses, paper napkins, and a rose bowl tealight holder.
- Skirting and cloth covered chairs are provided (white only) if required for special tables (e.g. cake or gift tables) at an additional cost.
- Tablecloths (your choice of color) are included.
- Cloth napkins are available at an additional cost.
- A head table or special guest table is set with all china and glassware and cloth napkins.
- Additional hall decorations are not included.

EVENT BOOKING TIMES
- Rental period in the Center is from 2:00 p.m. till 2:00 a.m. the following day.
- The DJ and bar service must shut down at 2:00 a.m. The center must be vacated by 3:00 a.m. by all non-staff members. Any extension is subject to additional charges.

DEPOSITS
- A damage deposit of $1,000.00 is required for all events. This deposit must be received to secure the date.
- The damage deposit will be refunded after your event, following a damage inspection of the Center.
- We can hold a date for a maximum of seven (7) calendar days without a deposit.

CANCELLATIONS
- If the event is canceled 6 months or more prior to the event 100% of the damage deposit will be refunded ONLY IF the center is rebooked for that date.
- If the event is canceled less than 6 months prior to the event date, 75% of the damage deposit will be refunded ONLY IF the center is rebooked for that date.

GUARANTEED NUMBERS AND FINAL ARRANGEMENTS
- Menu selection and final arrangements must be completed two weeks prior to the date of your scheduled event.
- A guaranteed number of guests is required eight days prior to the date of your event.
- All dinner menus require a minimum of 150 guests. A surcharge will be charged for fewer than 150 guests.
- All lunch menus require a minimum of 50 guests. A surcharge will be charged for fewer than 50 guests.
- Full payment is due eight days prior to your scheduled event, otherwise the event will be canceled.

SIGNAGE AND DECORATIONS
- You are responsible for the set-up and removal of all decorations.
- Decorating time may be requested prior to your event.
Please call the centre to make arrangements.
- In accordance with the City of Edmonton fire code,
NO open flames are allowed, however enclosed candles are permitted.
- The Canadian Druze Centre does not allow signage or decorations that will leave permanent damage to the room.

DJ’S / LIVE MUSIC
- Groups using the Centre may bring in a DJ or live music.
- The Canadian Druze Centre does not provide live music or a DJ for any events.
- The Canadian Druze Centre is able to provide a full sound system subject to an additional cost and deposit.

LIABILITY
- The convener agrees to indemnify and save harmless The Canadian Druze Centre against any and all claims and expenses presented by any person or persons, firm or firms, corporation or corporations, attending this function. Same to apply to vehicles and their contents.
- Responsibility is assumed by the convener or host company for personal property, loss or damages to any part of the Banquet Hall premises or equipment which is caused by any person attending the function. Same to apply to vehicles and their contents.
- Please make sure that valuables are properly attended to during your event.

LIQUOR POLICIES
- Alberta Provincial Law forbids guests less than 18 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages. ID will be required.
- Management (or employees in charge) reserves the right to not serve alcoholic beverages to guests who are known or thought to be intoxicated at any time.
- Alberta Provincial laws state that homemade wine, beer or cider can not be served.
- Client is responsible for providing an accurate and valid liquor license – at least 24 hours prior to your event. Absolutely no alcohol will be served in absence of such license.

FOOD POLICIES
Facility MUST Be Returned in Same Condition As Before The Event or DAMAGE DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE FULLY REFUNDED.
